Featured in a recent issue of the News Enterprise, she is an advocate for safety in this field and uses the most unique system available—Nouveau Contour. ® Made in Germany, its patented safety needle cartridges and digital computerized equipment assure consistent color implantation and zero chance of disease transmission between patients.
About Nancy LaTouche
Nancy spent five (5) great years as a permanent makeup specialist.
She started her one-on-one, 6 month Permanent Makeup (PMU)
training course in 1999 with Deena Barton and established
"Always Look Your Best" January 2000.
Nancy
says, "on-going training is essential, especially in
this line of work." She has attended 5 Society of Permanent
Cosmetic Professional's conventions (2000-2004) and one American
Academy of Micropigmentation convention for her board certification
exam. Her trainers have included: Susan Church, Paula Pilmanis,
Rose Marie Beauchemin, Elizabeth Finch and Pati Pavlik, Karen
Hovey and Debbie De'Oro, all industry renowned experts in
the field of Permanent Make-up.
Ms. LaTouche became "Board Certified" in 2003
by the Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM). Certification is
voluntary not mandatory, so the technician that has passed
the exam shows strong commitment to this wonderful field.
See: http://www.micropigmentation.org. The Academy accepts
only those practitioners that meet the highest established
standards of professionalism.
Nancy holds a B.A. degree in Business Management.
Special Note:
Starting 2005, Nancy discontinued doing PMU procedures, and instead consults with existing and prospective technicians. She is the author of an upcoming E-book for technicians. The title of this new book is, "101 Things I Wish I Knew at the Start of my Permanent Makeup Practice" slated for 2008 – I apologize, I thought I'd have it done by late-2007. Please check back soon for completion status.
